University of Florida
NRLI Class IX

The Florida Natural Resources Leadership Institute (NRLI) is transitioning from a calendar year schedule to a schedule that aligns with the State of Florida’s fiscal year as well as with the University Academic Schedule.  This change will take effect starting with our next class.

The first session of NRLI Class IX will take place on August 13-15, 2009 in Bradenton, Florida, and will deal with the issue of ‘Coastal Economics and Land Use Planning: The Expansion of Port Manatee’.  Class IX will meet monthly from August 2009 until March of 2010.  The schedule of venues provides details of locations and dates for each session.

Applications for Class IX are due by August 1, 2009.

The NRLI project Team believes that this change will improve the effectiveness of the NRLI program. We appreciate your patience as we complete the transition.

The 2009-2010 Florida Natural Resources Leadership Institute intends to emphasize the links between development of the built environment and stewardship of the natural environment.
